HONOLULU (KHON2) — Strong trade winds will gradually ease starting Thursday. Winds are expected to remain light this weekend. A wet season storm system could bring heavy rain from Sunday through Wednesday. Isolated thunderstorms are expected due to this nearby storm, which should clear the islands Wednesday. Today through Friday: Mostly dry and sunny. Breezy trade winds, but not as strong as before. A few light showers, mostly overnight and in windward/mountain areas.
