SAN ANTONIO — A young spider monkey was safely captured in a Northwest side neighborhood on Tuesday after witnesses reported seeing the small primate running through the area, according to San Antonio Animal Care Services. The infant monkey was discovered in a heavily soiled diaper sitting in the street near a home off Lansbury and Weybridge in the Northwest Crossing neighborhood. Housing or possessing primates is illegal in San Antonio, as monkeys are not considered pets.

The man, identified as Travis Ryan Hayson, was linked to the threats through his registered YouTube account and associated IP address.

CIBOLO, Texas - A dog attack in Cibolo left two people injured, including a police officer, after the animal turned aggressive and was subsequently shot by law enforcement. At approximately 8:07 a.m., emergency services responded to two 911 calls reporting a dog attack in the 100 block of Sambar Main. The caller reported that a loose dog had attacked an elderly woman in front of a residence. The dog owner was reportedly trying to restrain the animal by lying on top of it.
