The Baltimore Orioles pulled off a late night trade with the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday evening. After starting 13-22 and sitting in the basement of the AL East, Mike Elias and the front office are trying just about everything to turn the ship around. The Orioles acquired right-handed pitcher Luis F. Castillo from the Mariners in exchange for cash considerations according to the team. Baltimore designated left-hander Walter Pennington for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster.

The New York Yankees are off to a scorching start through 31 games as they lead the American League East by 1.5 games over their arch rivals the Boston Red Sox. Much of that can be attributed to the starting lineup and their superstar captain Aaron Judge who is outpacing the entire league at the plate. When a player is putting together a season that will potentially go down as the greatest in franchise history, it's hard to lose games.

The New York Yankees are currently leading the way in a talented American League East, 1.5 games over their rivals the Boston Red Sox. Much of that has to do with the starting lineup which has produced its fair share of runs, second most in MLB only behind the red-hot Chicago Cubs. In fact, the lineup has helped carry the rotation, which is producing just the 11th-best ERA in baseball. But no player can quite claim they have carried a team like the way Aaron Judge has.
