    MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) - Update: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has released more details into an officer-involved shooting in Wilson County. WSCO said they responded earlier Tuesday afternoon to the 5000 block of Benders Ferry Road for a domestic-related incident. When deputies arrived, a man reportedly barricaded himself inside the home. TBI said following an hours-long standoff, the man came out of the home and allegedly shot a handgun at deputies.

    MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) - Update: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has released more details into an officer-involved shooting in Wilson County. The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 5000 block of Benders Ferry Road on Tuesday afternoon for a domestic-related incident. Residents reported hearing a man and a woman yelling from inside the home. When deputies arrived, a man reportedly barricaded himself inside the home.

    MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) - Update: Rutherford County Schools provided an update to the previously announced bus contractor strike. RCS Director of Schools Dr. Jimmy Sullivan said the attorney representing some of the bus contractors, who recently put out a press release about striking, has notified them that they will not be striking. However, Sullivan did say they do expect any wide-spread disruptions to bus routes, but that there is always the possibility of isolated incidents.

    COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WSMV) - More than 400 workers will be losing their jobs after an automotive seating manufacturer announced the permanent closure of two facilities in Tennessee. According to WARN Notices filed with the TN Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Adient facilities in Maury and Henderson Counties will be permanently closed this summer. The notices were posted on April 22 and 23.
