The Lakeshore Canadiens, formerly known as the Belle River Canadiens, are holding a special ceremony on Friday, honouring the 1985 team that brought home the organization’s first Schmalz Cup title. Before Friday’s game against Essex, 19 of the 23 players on the team will participate in the ceremony. Amongst the players on the 1985 winning team is former NHL player Tie Domi. “I know they’re looking forward to it.
