FORT WAYNE — Richard Allen, the man charged with murder in the 2017 deaths of Abby Williams and Libby German in Delphi, returns to court today. Allen's defense team and the prosecution are scheduled to appear at the Allen County Courthouse for status hearing with special judge Fran Gull. This is the first hearing to be held outside of the Carroll County Courthouse. Gull called the hearing late last week to discuss multiple things, including the upcoming Oct.

FISHERS — The beach at Geist Waterfront Park is closed to swimmers after recent testing of the water in the area found high levels of e-coli. Fishers Parks and Recreation tells WRTV the park itself remains open, but the beach and use of the water at the park is closed at this time. Testing on Aug. 17 found high levels of e.coli in the water in several areas of the Geist Reservoir, including at the beach at the city's newest park.

GREENWOOD — Newly obtained police body camera videos provide a previously unseen look into what it took to evacuate Greenwood Park Mall during the shooting last summer. What began as another Sunday of shopping, eating, and relaxing turned into a night of terror when a gunman shot and killed three people inside the mall's food court on July 17, 2022. Pedro Pinedaand, his wife Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda and Victor Gomez all lost their lives that day.

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are warning drivers to stay alert after two separate crashes involving motorcycles left one man dead and another person critically injured late Tuesday. The first crash happened around 9 p.m. in the area of 38th Street and Georgetown Road. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers arriving at the scene found a white Jeep that had flipped and a three-wheel motorcycle that were involved in the crash.
