Its new campaign is highlighting good driving habits - as well as the dangers of driving 'the morning after'. The initiative - which warns you could lose your independence if you lose your licence - has come in for criticism from TD Ciarán Cannon, who says there's more to life than driving.

Sinn Fein has said sunbeds should be banned if recommended by the Chief Medical Officer. It's after Professor Mary Horgan said earlier this week she was 'concerned' about them, but added she needed to gather evidence on their links to skin cancer. There have been calls for sunbeds to be banned in recent weeks - including from the Tanaiste Micheal Martin. Sinn Fein's health spokesperson David Cullinane says he would ban them if that was the CMO's advice:"They are dangerous.
