good morningggg. *yawn, stretch, cracks neck*i feel like everyone i’ve talked to recently has been in a winter slump or full-blown depressive episode. what about you? something i practiced in therapy is that we can just recognize how we’re feeling in our spirit and body, and let it be. we don’t have to explain or intellectualize the cause of said feelings. i will say that i recently tried the dry sauna at my gym for the first time (it’s intimidating!) and damn, my mind felt so clear afterward.

I’m doing a lot better after a quarantine and lots of rest but it meant that I missed Latkes and Vodkas and a bunch of other festivities. Getting sick is always a bummer but in this period of extra festivity, it’s an extra bummer. I was sad to miss gatherings I look forward to all year and isolating physically can also be emotionally isolating.
