KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A Greenville Public Schools bus crashed Monday afternoon, leaving seven people on board hurt. The Kent County Sheriff's Office said around 3:10 p.m., the bus driver had a medical emergency. The bus left the road on Lincoln Lake Avenue just north of 17 Mile Road in Spencer Township, went into the ditch and then struck a tree. Thirteen high schoolers were on the bus at the time of the crash, the sheriff's office said. Deputies said six students had minor injuries.

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. — A suburban Detroit man is facing a $1 million bond, accused of luring a 14-year-old girl hours away from home to sexually abuse her. The Northville Township Police Department said 22-year-old Charles Willis was arraigned on Wednesday in 35th District Court on multiple felony charges, including kidnapping, enticing a female under 16 for immoral purposes, child sexually abusive activity and criminal sexual conduct. He's now being held at the Wayne County Jail.
