On Tuesday, Governor Glenn Youngkin announced that Integer, a global medical contract developer and manufacturing organization, plans to make a significant investment over the next five years to expand its operations in the City of Salem. The company will lease an additional manufacturing facility to increase production of catheter components for its growing cardio and vascular business segment. The project is estimated to create 83 new jobs, according to the office of the governor.

(WSET) — Average gasoline prices in Virginia have fallen 4.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.03/g on Monday, according to GasBuddy's survey of 4,081 stations in Virginia. Prices in Virginia are 16.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 46.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 4.8 cents in the last week and stands at $3.546 per gallon, GasBuddy said.
