(WSET) — Average gasoline prices in Virginia have risen 14.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.02/g on Monday, according to GasBuddy's survey of 4,081 stations in Virginia. Prices in Virginia are 4.6 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 32.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 4.0 cents in the last week and stands at $3.488 per gallon, GasBuddy said.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — Montgomery County deputies said two people were charged with child torture after a search warrant. On May 29, 2025, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said they executed a search warrant at a residence located in the Norris Run area of Montgomery County.
