SIOBHAN Kennedy from Tournafulla was crowned Best Dressed Lady on Style Stakes Sunday at the Listowel June Bank Holiday Festival Races last Sunday. Siobhan has attended Listowel Races for 15 years but had never won a Ladies Day title before. A GRANT contribution of €50,000 has been issued from the discretionary Mayoral Fund towards the Bruff Childcare Project. Work has been underway on the project to provide adequate childcare facilities in the community since 2024 and is now nearing completion. The project, which is a single story build encompassing two rooms, is located on the grounds adjacent to Scoil Dean Cussen National School.
