WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WAOW) — Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School has appointed Caleb Schroer as the new Head Boy's Hockey Coach. Schroer previously served as an assistant coach for the Red Raiders since in 2020. Schroer, an alumnus of Lincoln High School, played hockey there from 2010 to 2014. After graduation, he continued his hockey career in the NAHL with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs and Coolee Region Chill, before playing Division I hockey at Northern Michigan University.

Leiskau is a 2019 alumna of West, where she remains the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,744 career points. Leiskau was a standout player at West, earning multiple all-conference & all-state nods. Her college career spanned to Youngstown State University and Bemidji State University, where she continued to excel.

MIDDLETON, Wis. (WAOW) - One minute and 20 seconds into the OVERTIME period, Mara Meverdan delivered the game winning tip-in, assisted by Sophie Bohlin. As the Storm were looking to get back to the State Final, the Eau Claire Stars were looking to shine brighter. Addison Gruhlke was first to light the lamp, giving ECN a 1-0 lead just under five minutes in. But just 20 seconds later, CW responded with two goals of there own. Emma Brandt was first to rebound one near the net, assisted by Gabbi Hueser.
