    Editor’s note: Video is from a prior story. ST. LOUIS – A heartbreaking loss for the St. Louis Fire Department as an off-duty St. Louis firefighter dies in a crash over the weekend. The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and Whittier Street in north St. Louis. Investigators said Corey McBride was driving a black Jeep Wrangler when it collided with a gray Chrysler 300 that was attempting a left turn. The Jeep flipped in the crash.

LOUIS –  Police now believe a 16-year-old boy who was killed may have been shot by someone within his group during a string of break-ins. The incidents took place overnight at Vermont Avenue in south St. Louis, where surveillance cameras showed multiple individuals breaking into cars, according to St. Louis Metropolitan Police (SLMPD).
