Brian Cadd is slowly recovering in an Australian hospital after experiencing a haemorrhagic stroke, his family have revealed. The Cadd family issued a statement on Tuesday morning saying that while the Perth-born singer, 78, was showing signs of an early recovery, he has a “long road ahead” of him. “At the end of last week, our dear Brian suffered a haemorrhagic stroke whilst at home on the Gold Coast,” the statement said.

The young daughter of a Perth reality TV star has been in hospital for six months as she tries to overcome a severe bowel obstruction due to a complication of living with cystic fibrosis. Luke Toki’s six-year-old daughter was admitted to Perth Children’s Hospital intensive care unit in October last year with distal intestinal obstruction syndrome, a complication of CF. It occurs when the bowel becomes partially or completely blocked.
