Potawatomi Zoo plans new habitat

The South Bend-based Potawatomi Zoo is working on its newest project: a state-of-the-art Amur tiger and leopard habitat titled Big Cat Tracks. The project will incorporate two additional acres adjacent to the zoo’s current border recently acquired from the City of South Bend. “We’re so excited about this project,” said Josh Sisk, Potawatomi Zoo executive director, in a press release.

South Bend Airport unveils new facility

South Bend International Airport celebrated the opening of its new Consolidated Quick Turnaround Facility with a ribbon cutting April 15. South Bend Mayor James Mueller, local officials and company representatives were on hand for the event. The new Quick Turnaround Facility allows airport rental car operators to perform back of house services in a consolidated facility in proximity to the rental car parking lot.
South Bend Chamber announces Michiana Forty under 40 class
