May 24-The LanCATster Cat Cafe is perhaps the only place in Lancaster city, besides one's own home, where someone could enjoy a coffee while petting a sweet cat. After two years of planning, co-owners Jax Lanza and John Bender opened the Lancaster city business in April. The concept: a brightly decorated café at 222 N. Duke St. serving beverages and pastries where customers can interact with adoptable cats.
