After two years of planning, co-owners Jax Lanza and John Bender opened the Lancaster city business in April. The concept: a brightly decorated café at 222 N. Duke St. serving beverages and pastries where customers can interact with adoptable cats.

Since 2006, Just Press Play has specialized primarily in video games, adding movies, vinyl records and other collectibles along the way. However, beyond expanding to include other stores - up to four at one point - there was only ever so much space to grow.
