BOWERSTON — Conotton Valley junior Maddison "Maddi" Kelley didn't need long to adjust to varsity softball, putting together impressive freshman and sophomore seasons and receiving early recognition. That was just a start for the talented Kelley, who has continued to dominate from the pitching circle and the batters' box for the Rockets. She put up eye-popping numbers as a freshman and sophomore, and this season, she continues to put up one dominating performance after another.

Cast your vote for the top performances from local student-athletes during the week of April 21-26 action from which to choose in the Times-Reporter Athletes of the Week polls for boys and girls sports. High school sports fans can vote in two polls this week to pick their top performance. The polls run until 5 p.m. Wednesday.

FALLS TOWNSHIP — Gabbi Hammer belted a walk-off, two-run home run to give West Muskingum a 7-6 win over Tri-Valley on April 25. Hammer finished 3-for-4, Kadie Bare drilled a two-run homer and earned a complete game win, Addy Antonetz hit a solo homer with a single, and Calie Smith swatted two doubles for the Tornadoes. Ashlyn Davis hit two doubles with two RBIs, Alivia Reffitt added a solo home run and a single and Paiton Murphy belted a two-run home run to highlight the Scotties' effort.
