A crowd of country music fans brought their best boots and cowboy hats to Aura nightclub in Dundee on Saturday for a lively country-themed day party. The dance floor was buzzing as revellers enjoyed a mix of classic and modern hits from stars like Morgan Wallen, Dolly Parton, Luke Combs, and Shania Twain. The playlist served up a perfect blend of nostalgic anthems and current chart-toppers, keeping the energy high all afternoon.

Hundreds of people attended the Fisherman’s Beer Festival in Broughty Ferry this weekend. The three day event took place at the Fisherman’s Tavern Hotel for another year. People were encouraged to join the party and raise support and funds for the Broughty Ferry Lifeboat. started at 1pm on Friday and concluded on Sunday at 10pm. A Beer tent was erected onsite with a BBQ and numerous alcoholic beverages could be purchased including Beer, Cider, Gin, Vodka and Prosecco.

East Scryne Fruit Farm reopened the tearoom and fruit farm for the first time this year on Wednesday, 30th April. Families visited the farm on a hot sunny day and enjoyed their first ice creams of the year. The friendly staff served up treats in the tearoom. Children had a blast in the play park with an enormous bouncy pillow, straw bale castle, swing, sandpit, strawberry cottage, and picnic tables. For John Ferguson, a Dundee derby day starts at 7am. He was born in the city, but the die-hard Dundee FC fan’s family moved to Leeds when he was just 12 years old. And even though he lost his Dundonian accent, mohawk-sporting fan John never stopped following his beloved Dark Blues. “My grandad were a Dee, my dad were a Dee, so I’m a Dee,” he says proudly.
