DENVER (KDVR) — Starting this week, Colorado residents will start receiving their property assessment notices in the mail. These notices will show if the assessed value of the home went up or down, and they will offer a way to appeal. In Colorado, property is revalued every two years. Back in 2023, many homeowners were hit with huge property value increases and big tax bills. This year looks different.

DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Police Department’s chief plans to add “Education-Based Discipline” as an option for officers with low-level infractions. The traditional system would continue to be used for higher-level discipline cases. Under the plan, officers with low-level infractions like failing to write a report or being discourteous could qualify for training instead of reprimands or fines.
