The match at Portway Stadium saw the Swifts take an early lead in the first 10 minutes with a goal from Freddie Percival. Despite being pushed wide by a Town defender, Percival managed to slot the ball past the oncoming keeper.

The highlight of the day came from the first XI, who secured a commanding victory against Portsmouth & Southsea, largely thanks to the outstanding performance of allrounder Babu Veettil. Captain John Nyumbu won the toss and opted to bat first on a green pitch under clear blue skies.

Bath-based company HPH has made its first purchase in Salisbury, buying the medieval building on Butcher Row, located in the heart of the city centre, surrounded by popular brands including Marks & Spencer, White Stuff, and L'Occitane. The timber-framed shop is currently let to Watches of Switzerland, which has traded there under the Goldsmiths brand since 1997.
