This study constituted part of the 5th National Fitness Surveillance conducted in the Hubei province of China. With the cross-sectional surveillance study design, a stratified cluster random sampling method was used to select samples involving four steps. Firstly, all municipalities in Hubei province were recruited for surveillance, and then three districts were randomly selected from each municipality. Next, three towns and three villages were randomly selected from each district.

Confocal MicroscopyMODE-K cells were plated onto glass slides, treated with 4 mM FITC-labeled stachyose for 0-4 h, and fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde for 0.5 h. Following fixation, cells were permeabilized in acetone at 4 °C for 5 min and stained. Formalin-fixed small intestinal tissues were embedded in paraffin and 10 μm sections were cut and stained. Nucleus were stained with DAPI and cytoskeleton stained with Rhodamine-phalloidin. Images were acquired by confocal microscopy with a 63X objective.

Non-Hermitian skin effect (NHSE) is an intrinsic non-Hermitian phenomenon where an extensive number of eigenmodes, called skin modes, are localized at the boundary of a system. Recent theories have suggested that the NHSE can be well-tuned by external fields, opening a route to manipulating wave localization. Here, we experimentally demonstrate the diverse interactions between NHSE and synthetic magnetic fields (SMFs) in coupled acoustic ring resonator lattices.

AbstractSolid-phase microextraction (SPME) coupled with electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) was developed for rapid and sensitive determination of endogenous androgens. The SPME probe is coated with covalent organic frameworks (COFs) synthesized by reacting 1,3,5-tri(4-aminophenyl)benzene (TPB) with 2,5-dioctyloxybenzaldehyde (C8PDA). This COFs-SPME probe offers several advantages, including enhanced extraction efficiency and stability.
