(WMBB) – Warm air, ample moisture and almost no wind has resulted in dense fog development across the Panhandle this morning. An advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. CDT/9 a.m. EDT. Visibility is reduced to one mile or less in many areas.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Good morning! We’re off to a pretty mild start to the day with temperatures mainly in the low-mid 60s. We are under the effect of a high pressure system over the western Atlantic, which is working in a wind from the southeast at 5-15 mph this morning. This high will continue to work moisture into our atmosphere from the Gulf of Mexico, making it feel more humid and resulting in the development of some clouds.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – It’s a more comfortable start to the day today with temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s. There’s also a bit more moisture present in the atmosphere, which you’ll feel with slightly higher humidity. Add in a calm wind and a mostly clear sky, and we have the ingredients present to create patchy, dense fog. Any fog present should evaporate by mid-morning. Through the day today, we’ll see more sunshine and higher temperatures.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – More patchy, dense fog is developing across the Panhandle this morning. Temperatures are also back in the mid-60s to start the day. This afternoon, we’ll see temperatures top out near 80 degrees along the coast and closer to 90 degrees inland. We’re in for more sunshine through the day, too. Winds will be out of the west/southwest up to 10 mph. Morning fog and clouds will be around the next few days.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Patchy dense fog is developing in some parts of the Panhandle this morning and resulting in reduced visibility. That’s due to more moisture present in the air, a light wind and a partly cloudy sky. Conditions may worsen over the next few hours before the fog evaporates through the mid-morning hours.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – Good morning and happy Wednesday! We’re off to a cool and comfortable start to the day with temperatures in the 60s for most. Today’s weather forecast is going to be very similar to yesterday’s. We’ll see a mix of clouds and sun through the day with temperatures near 80 degrees along the coast, mid-80s inland. Winds will also come from the south at 5-10 mph. There has been very little change in the forecast the next few days.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WMBB) – This morning’s weather is pretty similar to yesterday’s with the exception of more upper-level clouds streaming in from the west. That’s why temperatures are in the 60s from Pensacola to DeFuniak Springs. Less clouds to the east has resulted in temperatures falling into the 50s. With moisture present in the air and barely any wind, patchy dense fog is developing again, too.
