DENVER — Evangelical pastors across Colorado claimed they were defying a state law by criticizing transgender people in their sermons last Sunday. But the law specifically protects their religious speech. “I broke the law during my sermon this morning,” said Ridgeline Community Church Pastor Chris Goble on social media. “Because resitance (sic) to tyrants is obedience to God.”  Goble’s sermon on Sunday in Castle Rock called out Democratic State Rep.
