    DENVER (KDVR) — Wednesday brings the first severe weather threat of the season to the Denver weather forecast. On Wednesday, look for sunshine to start the day before showers and thunderstorms develop this afternoon, mainly after 3 p.m.The threat of larger hail and damaging winds is mainly for the Eastern Plains, but the Palmer Divide and Denver International Airport could also see the severe impacts. Temperatures will be mild on Wednesday in the upper 60s.

Look for mostly cloudy skies throughout the day on Saturday, with the sun peeking through at times. Watch for showers and thunderstorms to develop in the afternoon, mainly after 3 p.m. No severe weather is expected. Highs on Saturday will be just slightly below average in the upper 50s.

    DENVER (KDVR) — Mostly sunny skies are expected in Denver weather Sunday with below average temperatures sitting in the mid 30s. A few more clouds build will roll in in this afternoon, and the area will stay cool to start the work week. Wednesday and Thursday bring temperatures back up to the average in the mid to upper 40s, but the warmup is short lived. An arctic blast is headed to Colorado next weekend bringing frigid cold and snow.

    DENVER (KDVR) — Sunday brings mild temperatures to the metro with possibly a few showers later in the day while snow returns to the mountains. After a foggy start, temperatures will reach into the mid-70s Sunday with partly to mostly sunny skies. Watch for a few light showers possible later Sunday that could last into Monday morning. It’ll also be a little breezy, especially in the south metro. In the mountains, Winter Storm Warnings in southwestern Colorado expire Sunday and snow moves north.
