VINCENNES — Last week, the Vincennes Animal Shelter was able to officially celebrate the complete new addition to the building with a ribbon cutting, while also celebrating a donation that will support the shelter in more ways than one. Leah Reagan, director at the animal shelter, said that Dr. Renee Bartlett surprised the staff Wednesday afternoon with a check donation for $40,000 to use where the shelter sees it is needed. "We're just thrilled about the donation from Dr Bartlett," Reagan said.

VINCENNES — The Wabash Valley Friendship Clubhouse celebrated many achievements with an open house on Thursday, inviting the community to see what all the Clubhouse has to offer. The Clubhouse's achievements included having successfully passed the Clubhouse International Survey, received a 3-year accreditation, and will be operational for five years in November.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ill. — Officials with Toyota Boshoku America, Toyota Boshoku Illinois and many other partners celebrated the newly added solar farm to Toyota Boshoku Illinois' site with a ribbon cutting and tour of the farm. Doug Shields, TBA executive vice president, shared that the journey of benefitting from the solar farm started in 2021, when the opportunity was presented to them and they had to look after different options, such as solar panels on the roof of the facility or using local land.
