WNDU-TV is a television station that operates on virtual channel 16 and UHF digital channel 27, affiliated with NBC, and is based in South Bend, Indiana, USA. The station is owned by Gray Television, which is headquartered in Atlanta. WNDU-TV is part of a duopoly with WSJV, an affiliate of Heroes & Icons, which is licensed in Elkhart and broadcasts on channel 28. The studios for both stations are situated on the former campus of WNDU-TV's previous owner, the University of Notre Dame, along State Road 933 in the northern part of South Bend. The transmitter for WNDU-TV is positioned in the southeastern area near the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds in the southern part of the city.

INDIANAPOLIS (WNDU) - A property tax relief plan with a hint of DOGE was passed by Indiana lawmakers early this morning and was signed into law by Gov. Mike Braun this afternoon. Senate Bill 1 promises to lower the homestead property tax bills of two-thirds of Hoosier homeowners starting next year compared to this year. The package offers a tax credit of 10% or a maximum of $300 to every homestead. Additional tax credits are then awarded to seniors, veterans, the disabled, and the blind.
