NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — New Orleans sportscaster and WGNO Sports Director Ed Daniels will be one of three sports journalism legends being inducted into Loyola University’s Den of Distinction. Daniels will be posthumously inducted after his August 2024 death.

No. 1 Archbishop Shaw punches ticket to LHSAA Division II semifinals after defeating David Thibodaux, 70-41. The Eagles held the Bulldogs to tying their third lowest scoring game on the year.
