LEESBURG — Upcoming events and projects taking place in town were discussed at the Leesburg Town Council meeting Monday. The Leesburg Memorial Day parade will be held at 10:30 a.m. May 26. All parade participants are to be in place by 10:15 a.m. Veterans will meet at Town Hall. The parade route will be south on Pearl Street and west on Prairie Street to the cemetery. A memorial service will be held at the cemetery following the parade.

LEESBURG — Leesburg Town Council voted to purchase an air purification system as a solution to the ongoing sewer odor coming from the main pumping station. The decision was made during the council meeting Monday.
