The new store is the retailer’s store ninth in the county and is creating 30 new jobs for the local area. Local ladies’ Gaelic football star and Donegal Captain Roisin Rodgers will have the honour of cutting the ribbon on the morning and welcome shoppers into the new store to enjoy a premier shopping experience.

Donegal County Councillor Jack Murray confirmed that the appointed contractor will work on the overlay of the Cockhill Road, outside Buncrana from Tuesday, April 15 to Friday, April 18 and from Tuesday, April 22 until Friday, April 25.

His Excellency Archbishop Luis. Mariano Montemayor, Apostolic Nuncio and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Minister of State Charlie McConalogue TD officially unveiled a public artwork in commemoration of Friar Seamus Hegarty at Fr Hegarty’s Rock in Buncrana on Friday. The impressive statue commemorating Fr Hegarty was created by local artist Rory Harron and funded under the Community Recognition Programme, an initiative of the Department of Rural and Community Development.
