RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The weekend is getting off to a “shaky” start in western North Carolina, where a small earthquake was recorded early Friday morning. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck around 3:12 a.m. Friday in southwestern NC in Rosman, which is located in Transylvania County. The quake was felt in South Carolina, with tremors felt all the way down to Clemson.
