GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — After $1 million worth of drugs were found in a recent drug bust in Kent County, officials said they've discovered an alarming trend. The Kent County Sheriff’s Office’s Kent Area Narcotics Enforcement Team recently seized 11 lbs. of cocaine, 1.7 pounds of fentanyl, and a loaded handgun in a drug bust on Grand Rapids’ southwest side.  "This was 1.7 pounds, a very disturbing amount of fentanyl that we found,” said Kent County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt.

After helping several victims of Hurricane Beryl and Helen in its first year, the organization decided to partner with Convoy of Hope for its second year. "We have cereals. We have, you know, fruit snacks. We have pasta, pasta sauce, and soup. The boxes will feed a family of four for five days,” said SpartanNash manager of corporate giving, Dawn Bredeweg.
