    Wallace Rose Hill recently held an event to launch their new agricultural drone program called FLOCK. It was held on Feb. 11 in the Wallace Rose Hill High School Agriculture Classroom at 9:00 a.m.During the event a check for $20,000 was presented, written out to Duplin County High School. The funding was provided by a grant through the NC Education and Workforce Innovation Commission along with support from House of Raeford’s nonprofit outreach program called FLOCK.

    The Bulls, Barrels, and Broncs Rodeo Show was in town this past weekend. The two-day event took place on Feb. 14th and 15th and was held at the Duplin Events Center starting at 7:00 p.m. each night. The show has been making a stop in Duplin County since 2017, and is always a packed house full of riders, their friends and families, and those that just came to enjoy the show. It was a three-part show that showcased barrel racing, bull riding, and bucking horse riding.
