SOUTH JORDAN — The family of a 15-year-old boy is sharing about their heartbreak after he died in a natural gas explosion in his home this week. The family of Logan Hansen spoke at a vigil Friday night, where hundreds gathered to honor him. Friends and classmates wearing Logan’s favorite color blue gathered in front of Bingham High School, some holding posters expressing how much they miss their friend. Students and other families who arrived lit candles and stood in silence.

SOUTH JORDAN — Neighbors of the 15-year-old Bingham High student killed in a house explosion are surrounding the boy's family with support after losing their son and their home. Utility crews worked late into the evening Thursday around 10500 S. 3200 West, where the home used to stand. Neighbors approached the metal fence before the property, looking out over a dark heap of destruction. Neighbors of the 15-year-old jumped into action with blue ribbons and blue lights in honor of the boy.

OREM — A dental office is hoping the public can help police identify a thief who they say helped herself to employee belongings in the room they thought was safest at the office, right during the middle of the workday. The Smile Studio dental hygienist Emily Goodrich said she was the first to notice her wallet missing from her purse after work on Oct. 29. Wallet is missing“I texted all the girls here at work and said, ‘Hey, this is strange, but my wallet’s missing out of my purse,'” she said.
