Attorney Steve Snyder went before the BZA to request the exception on behalf of John Beechy, who co-owns EXC Properties. The land in question is south of CR 800N and north of CR 750N in Etna Township.

AKRON — The Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. now has $500,000 more to help meet child care needs in the Kosciusko and Fulton County areas. At its regular meeting on Monday, the TVSC Board accepted the half million dollar grant from Early Learning Indiana. "I know in my time at Tippecanoe Valley, I believe this is the largest grant that we've ever received," said TVSC Superintendent Blaine Conley.

Work removing the Center Lake pier is progressing, Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department Superintendent Larry Plummer told the parks board Tuesday. Plummer said workers began removing the pier around Feb. 1. "They set up at the end of January," he said. "They took the whole top of the pier off, took that concrete out. They found out it was filled up with sand all the way, except for the last probably 20 feet of the pier had washed out.
