The first step for Living In Transition Effectively (LITE) to get $26,312 for overseeing 18 boxes containing Narcan in the county and distributing harm reduction materials was made at the Health First Kosciusko Advisory Committee meeting on Wednesday. The committee approved recommending that the Kosciusko County Board of Health approve the above expenditures at its next meeting.

There were a number of reasons why the old Center Lake pier was removed, according to Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department Superintendent Larry Plummer. Plummer spoke on the topic at the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Board's meeting on Tuesday. He noted Milestone Contractors LP finished taking out the pier last week. "They did the concrete work on the sidewalks that they damaged going in and out, so they've got that replaced, and they got the grass restoration done, at least it's planted.

AKRON — The Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. now has $500,000 more to help meet child care needs in the Kosciusko and Fulton County areas. At its regular meeting on Monday, the TVSC Board accepted the half million dollar grant from Early Learning Indiana. "I know in my time at Tippecanoe Valley, I believe this is the largest grant that we've ever received," said TVSC Superintendent Blaine Conley.
