An actor has hit out at Jet2 after being thrown off an Edinburgh flight and issued with a lifetime ban following a "row over Pringles". Mustafa Denizkan, also known as Elunico Hazaver, claims he was unfairly taken off flight LS721. The aircraft left Edinburgh Airport for Larnaca in Cyprus on May 10 at around 3pm, before it was diverted to Thessaloniki in Greece.

A huge emergency services response was launched in the early hours of Sunday morning, with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirming six casualties. A blaze has broken out in the early hours of Sunday morning at a block of high rise flats in Edinburgh. Emergency services received reports of the incident and raced to the scene at around 1am on June 15. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service were all in attendance.

Police taped off a section of an Edinburgh path in relation to an 'ongoing investigation'. An Edinburgh footpath has been cordoned off by police after an investigation was launched. A section of Roseburn Path, between Roseburn Terrace and Ravelston Dykes, was closed off to the public due to the incident. Residents have been provided alternative routes by officers. The nature of the investigation has not yet been confirmed by police, reports Edinburgh Live.

Roseburn Path is understood to have been closed off since Thursday evening with a continued police presence today. Police have sealed off a popular Edinburgh walkway as part of an ongoing investigation. It's understood that Roseburn Path was cordoned off overnight, with officers reportedly on the scene from around 6pm on Thursday, June 5. A huge police presence remains at the site on Friday morning, with images showing officers in the area as well.
