Rain and storms are expected to hang around parts of Alabama today, and a few of them could be on the strong side. NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center has added a Level 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather for parts of south and west Alabama today (Tuesday). A Level 1 risk (or marginal risk) means that isolated severe storms will be possible. The strongest storms could have damaging winds and hail. The tornado risk is low to zero.
