Law enforcement officers are on the scene and a bomb squad has been called to a Wake County home Tuesday after a report of a possible explosive. The Wake New Hope Fire Department and the Wake County Sheriff's Office were called about possible unexploded military ordnance found at a home in the 4600 block of Forestville Road near Raleigh about 1:45 p.m., according to a news release.

It's been three years since Raheem Clark was fatally shot at a Durham apartment complex, but neither of his accused killers hasstood trial, with one case plagued by attorney spats, including a call for sanctions against the Durham County District Attorney's Office. Clark, 21, was killed April 15, 2022, at the Cadence at RTP apartments on East Cornwallis Road, The News & Observer previously reported. Another man was seriously injured.
