Something sweet appears to be in the works on Roswell Road. A permit for 4314 Roswell Road was filed with the City of Atlanta, and the documents show that the team behind the plan is Edible Arrangements. The approximately 5,700-square-foot building in Chastain Park was formerly occupied by EZ One Price Cleaners, which closed last year. The project, referred to as “Retail – Edible Arrangements,” would involve the partial demolition of the building, according to the documents.

A Florida-based coffee chain is brewing more locations in the Peach State. Foxtail Coffee Co. is planned for 285 Mayson Avenue NE, according to a recent building permit application. The 1,637-square-foot coffee shop will be located at the Hanover Edgewood apartment building, on the east side of Atlanta. This won’t be the first Foxtail Coffee Co. located at a Hanover apartment; the coffee franchise also has a location at Hanover Midtown at 1230 W Peachtree Street NW.

A local bakery and deli is continuing to expand. Henri’s Bakery & Deli is expected to open this summer at Piedmont Park. The 800-square-foot walk-up space will be located near the tennis courts and Atlanta Botanical Garden. “I cannot think of a better way for two iconic Atlanta destinations to come together,” Henri’s President Anthony DiNardo said in a statement. “Henri’s is always exploring new ways to offer convenient meal options and memorable experiences to a wider audience.

An athletic apparel brand is working on a new store in Atlanta. Lululemon is planned for a space in Vinings at Vinings Jubilee. The store will be located at 4300 Paces Ferry Road SE, according to lululemon’s website, which indicates the store is coming soon. Social media posts indicate that it is expected to open this summer. Vinings Jubilee is a shopping center with restaurants, retail shops and more.

A local cake company is working on its first permanent space. Key’s Cakery is planned for a 549-square-foot space in Snellville at Towne Center Market. Key’s Cakery specializes in cakes, cupcakes and other handcrafted sweet treats. This will be the first brick-and-mortar space for the mobile business that has been serving the community cake slices, chocolate bars, fresh lemonade and more from a trailer in the Snellville area.
