Embattled incumbent Gonzalez faced a decided loss on Election Night, losing the Western Judicial Circuit District Attorney race and receiving less than half the vote. HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Hillsborough County deputies are in East Tampa Friday working to rescue people trapped in Alafia River flood waters. The sheriff's office posted a video of more-than-waist-deep flood waters Friday morning. The National Weather Service designated that the river was experiencing "major" flooding following Hurricane Milton.
