This is the second child with autism who has drowned in West Chester in the last year. Now, neighbors there are pushing to install new safety measures, so no community ever has to face this tragedy again. Drowning is the leading cause of death for children with autism.

A new report shows schools face up to 3,000 cybersecurity threats per week. The alarming number has been on the rise in the last year and a half. “Most of the time, people are looking for student data and employee data,” said Rebekah Michael with the Ohio Cyber Range Institute. “That data is incredibly valuable because you know, full histories of complete people.”The growing digital world is appealing for school systems, but ramps up the risk for cyberthreats that can ultimately become attacks.

It has stood on Elm Street for nearly 120 years. Now, Memorial Hall is undergoing renovations after more than $1 million was raised for Over-the-Rhine’s historic music venue. In 2012, there was a chance this historic place would be lost forever. “Memorial Hall was in danger of being sold for a dollar because of the it was had fallen into disrepair,” said Bill Bauman, chair emeritus of the Memorial Hall Society. Bauman and a group of others went to Hamilton County.
