The Walsh & Albert Company and Metal Zinc are opening their new facility within the Tomball Business & Technology Park in May, according to an April 23 news release. The new office and heating, ventilation and air conditioning manufacturing facility is 194,500 square feet, according to the news release. In August 2023, plaintiffs RW Lands, Inc., Texas Stargate Inc., Royal Campground, Inc. and Texas RF, Inc. sued the defendants Texas Renaissance Festivals, LLC, Stargate Manor Arboretum, LLC, and festival founder George Coulam, alleging a breach of contract, according to court documents. The sale is not expected to affect the festival itself, as Texas Renaissance Festival officials said operations are moving forward on this year’s festival in a statement posted to Facebook on May 8.

Professional Choice Construction’s showroom will be open for walk-ins between 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and by appointment on Saturdays, Felts said.
