    SALT LAKE CITY — One man is dead after an a apparent hit-and-run early Friday morning, police said. According to Salt Lake City police, Gold Cross Ambulance found a man down at 400 South and 200 East. Despite administering life-saving efforts, the man died. "Evidence on scene suggests a car hit the man," police said. While searching the area, police said officers were able to locate the suspected driver and car in a nearby grocery store parking lot.
