LINCOLN — Three teenagers trying to drive across a closed bridge at First Street and Old Cheney Road have caused an estimated $100,000 to $200,000 damage, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office. Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said it happened at about 9:30 Friday night. He said three cars, traveling together to go to get coffee, drove around road-closed signs. The first, an Audi A4 driven by a 15-year-old girl on a school permit, stopped because of construction equipment blocking her way.
