The Rent Guidelines Board met in Jamaica, Queens on Thursday to hear from the public for the first time since deciding to scale back their original plan. The board previously re-adjusted its proposed increase for two-year leases at rent-stabilized apartments to a range of 3.75 to 7.75%. They plan to keep the proposed hike of one-year leases at 1.75 to 4.75%.
