A nurse was stabbed by a patient reportedly irate over waiting times in the A&E department of Royal Oldham Hospital. The attack occurred on Saturday night at 11.30pm, leaving the female staff member critically injured with potentially "life changing" injuries. A 37 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. According to MailOnline, the incident was allegedly triggered by the man's frustration over the wait time to be seen in the A&E.
