READING, Pa. -- A man from Berks County has admitted to selling counterfeit artwork, reports the U.S. Attorney's Office. A press release writes that Carter Reese, 77, of Reading, entered a plea of guilty Thursday to one count of wire fraud and one count of mail fraud, in connection with a scheme in which he defrauded customers by making false representations about the source and authenticity of certain art purportedly created by prominent artists.

SCRANTON, Pa. - A Berks County man pleaded guilty to trafficking charges related to the sale of stolen human remains. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Joshua Taylor, 46, of Wernersville, pled guilty Thursday to interstate transport of stolen human remains.
