LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Few names are more synonymous with Transylvania University basketball than Don Lane. 50 years ago he started his basketball campus at Transy and today, they’re still going strong. His son, Transy men’s basketball head coach Brian Lane, now oversees the camp duties and says they estimate they’ve coached around 60,000 campers over the years. It’s a family affair, Brian’s son could be seen refereeing games at the Beck Center as Don and Brian looked on.

CLEMSON, S.C. (WKYT) - Kentucky baseball (31-26) fell to 2 seed West Virginia in the NCAA Clemson Regional finals Sunday night, 13-12, ending their post-season run. UK played twice Sunday, beating Clemson 16-4 in the early game to advance. (3) UK went 2-2 in the region, both losses coming to WVU. The Mountaineers will advance to the Super Regional. LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky baseball team snapped a five-game losing skid to stay alive in the NCAA post-season with a 7-3 win over USC Upstate in the Clemson Regional. CLEMSON, S.C. (WKYT) - Following an hours-long rain delay, 3-seed Kentucky baseball dropped it’s opener in the NCAA Clemson Regional 4-3 to 2-seed West Virginia, when the Mountaineers had a walk-off win in the bottom of the ninth. The Wildcats started off with a 3-0 lead after a big 4th inning, but WVU scored four unanswered runs to lock up the win. UK has now lost it’s last five games, including it’s SEC Tournament opener.
