TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday, chaos erupted in front of the Vickery household. Their dog, Ollie, had been struck by a vehicle. The family said Ollie was struck by what appeared to be a group of girls on their way to prom. “Right after the thud, I heard the tires squeal and they got out and as soon as I got to the street they started crying and sobbing because Ollie was on the road and the whole right side of the road was just covered in blood,” said Ryan Vickery.
