A We Energies' peregrine falcon chick was spotted in the wild for the first time since she left the nest in rival territory. Iggy was named after Marquette's mascot "Iggy the Golden Eagle." She was born this spring at the Valley Power Plant, and We Energies says after a peregrine falcon leaves the nest, sightings are rare!Iggy was spotted at the Highlands Heron Rookery in Highland, Indiana. Reports from We Energies indicate Iggy might have been spying on Marquette's rival Notre Dame.

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee announced this week its sudden decision to end curbside Christmas tree pickup. Soon after, a new company was swiftly formed to help residents dispose of their trees while also supporting a local cause. Milwaukee residents can schedule a tree pick up with "Milwaukee Tree Pick Up." The company will send a team to your curb to collect and then compost the tree.

MILWAUKEE — The Stadium Interchange is closed due to a reported shooting, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office (MCSO). It is unclear if anyone was injured in the shooting. However, MCSO says it is possible that the freeway shooting is related to an earlier shooting that happened near 36th and National on Monday. The Milwaukee medical examiner told TMJ4 News they were called to a scene near 36th and Pierce for one person within the last hour.
