To the editor: I just saw on the news that Milwaukee had people protesting the Air and Water Show. They say that it promotes the military and there are also noise issues. To the editor: The 'shiny object' I spoke of, abortion at any time, for any reason, up until birth, has arrived as the only major talking point of the Biden administration’s run for reelection. It was an ugly prediction, but it’s true. Jill Biden spoke to a group of women here in Wisconsin. Her speech was about abortion. When Kamala Harris went to Minnesota, where did she speak? An abortion clinic. When Joe Biden came here what was his major talking point? He wants to make Roe v. Wade permanent.

For the 20th year in a row, Tikkun Ha-Ir, a Milwaukee Jewish social justice organization, is gathering gifts for those in need. "Tikkun Ha-Ir means "repair the city" in Hebrew. So, this is kind of our slice of doing that work," said Sami Stein Avner, the Tikkun Ha-Ir executive director. From Dec. 14 -17, the organization and volunteers are sorting thousands of new items including hats, gloves, socks, toys, and much more.
